Anthropic Launches Claude for Small Business With 15 Pre-Built Agent Workflows

Anthropic launched Claude for Small Business on May 13, 2026 — a free add-on for existing Claude subscribers that connects Claude to eight business tools via 15 pre-built agentic workflows: QuickBooks, PayPal, HubSpot, Canva, DocuSign, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and Slack.

The 15 Workflows

Each workflow automates a high-frequency task small businesses spend hours on weekly:

• Finance: Payroll planning, month-end close, invoice chasing, cash-flow monitoring (QuickBooks)
• Sales and marketing: Lead triage, customer pulse, campaign attribution (HubSpot)
• Legal: Contract review (DocuSign)
• Operations: Business pulse reporting — weekly summaries of key business metrics

Training and Access

Starting May 14, Anthropic launched a free 10-city half-day AI fluency tour — Chicago, Tulsa, Dallas, New Jersey, Baton Rouge, Birmingham, Salt Lake City, Baltimore, San Jose, and Indianapolis — helping business owners configure and use the new workflows directly.

Context

This marks Anthropic's first official move beyond enterprise into the SMB market. Unlike Microsoft 365 Copilot (which requires a separate add-on subscription), Claude for Small Business is included with existing Claude plans — a deliberate land-and-expand strategy targeting the estimated 33 million small businesses in the US and hundreds of millions globally.
