Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced sets July 9 launch across PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S

Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced launches on July 9, 2026 across PS5/PS5 Pro, Xbox Series X|S, PC, Steam/Steam Deck, Ubisoft+, and cloud services GeForce Now and Blacknut, according to Ubisoft's April 23 release guide. Standard edition pricing starts at $59.99, Deluxe at $69.99, and Collector's Edition at $199.99.

That makes this a full cross-platform release rather than a limited console-first rollout. Ubisoft also published concrete PC requirements: 65 GB of SSD storage and Windows 11 are mandatory, while the low preset targets 1080p/30 FPS on hardware around a GTX 1660 or RX 5500 XT. At the high end, Ubisoft lists an RTX 4090 or RX 7900 XTX for 4K/60 FPS with extended ray tracing.

What is actually changing

Resynced is more than a texture pass. Ubisoft says the remake adds ray-traced global illumination and reflections, a revised parry-driven combat system, new officer management for the Jackdaw, reworked Kenway's Fleet progression, additional missions and scenes with Matt Ryan, new ship weapons, expanded stealth tools, and new parkour options such as manual jump and side ejects. Console players also get a 60 FPS performance mode, a 30 FPS fidelity mode, and a 40 FPS balanced mode on 120 Hz displays.

One important detail for handheld players is that Ubisoft explicitly lists Steam/Steam Deck and says the PC version includes dedicated graphics presets for handheld devices. That does not guarantee perfect launch performance, but it does signal that Deck support is being treated as a real target instead of an afterthought.

Price and launch packaging

The pricing structure is straightforward. Standard and Deluxe are digital, while the physical Launch Edition stays at $59.99 and adds a 34-page artbook, a world map poster, and the Blackbeard's Crimson pack. Pre-orders for the Standard or Deluxe edition also include that Blackbeard bundle. The bigger question now is whether Ubisoft can justify the new system requirements and premium editions with a remake that lands 13 years after the original Black Flag. The July 9 date gives the publisher a short runway to prove that case.
