Four New Connectors Expand Grok Integration Ecosystem
xAI's Grok has added connectors for Vercel, Canva, Gamma, and S&P Global. Users can now build websites, create visual content, design presentation decks, and access real-time market data — all directly within Grok conversations.
What Each Connector Does
The Vercel connector enables deploying websites and apps through conversational prompts. The Canva connector generates images, social media posts, and marketing materials. The Gamma connector automates presentation deck design with AI, while the S&P Global connector pulls live financial market data into Grok workflows.
Synergy with Grok Skills
Combined with Grok Skills — launched on May 18 — these connectors become even more powerful. Grok can now remember user workflow preferences and automatically apply them across connector-based sessions, eliminating the need to repeat instructions each time.
Competing for the AI Agent Integration Market
This connector expansion places Grok in direct competition with Anthropic's MCP ecosystem and OpenAI's ChatGPT Connectors. With coverage now spanning development (Vercel), design (Canva), presentation (Gamma), and finance (S&P Global), Grok is positioning itself as a comprehensive integrated AI platform.
