KPMG Announces Global Alliance with Anthropic, Deploying Claude to 276,000 Employees
KPMG has announced a global strategic alliance with Anthropic, giving all 276,000+ of its employees access to Claude through its Digital Gateway software platform. The announcement was made on May 19, 2026.
Digital Gateway Integration
KPMG will embed Claude directly into Digital Gateway, the platform its people and clients use for work. Initial rollout focuses on new AI-powered tools for tax and legal clients, where Claude assists with document analysis, summarization, and drafting of advisory content.
Significance
This makes KPMG the first Big 4 firm to integrate an Anthropic model directly into its enterprise-wide platform. The 276,000-person deployment ranks among the largest enterprise AI rollouts to date. KPMG plans to build specialized Claude-powered workflows for tax, audit, and consulting engagements and make these available to clients as well.
