Microsoft、Frontier Suiteを発表 Claude対応CopilotとAgent 365 GAをMay 1に設定

MicrosoftがCopilotとagent governanceを一つの戦略にまとめた

MicrosoftはMarch 9, 2026、「Introducing the First Frontier Suite built on Intelligence + Trust」を公開し、複数のenterprise AI施策を一つの商用・技術パッケージとして整理した。発表にはMicrosoft 365 Copilot Wave 3、Agent 365のMay 1 general availability、そしてMicrosoft 365 E7 Frontier SuiteのMay 1提供開始が含まれる。中心に置かれているのはWork IQで、MicrosoftはこれをCopilotとagentsが人々の働き方、協業相手、共同作業コンテンツを理解するためのintelligence layerだと説明している。

Copilotは単一モデル製品ではなくmodel-diverse workspaceへ

MicrosoftはMicrosoft 365 Copilotがmodel diverse by designだと強調している。今回の発表では、ClaudeがFrontier programを通じてmainline chatに入り、最新世代のOpenAI modelsと並んで利用可能になる。さらにMicrosoftは、Anthropicと密接に構築しているCopilot Coworkをresearch previewとして紹介した。これは長時間にわたるmulti-step workを支える方向でCopilotを拡張する試みだ。要するにMicrosoftは、Copilotを一つのmodelに依存するassistantではなく、frontier modelをenterprise統制の下で扱う作業面として位置付けている。

Agent 365はenterprise agentsのcontrol planeとしてGAへ

MicrosoftはIDCが2028年までに1.3B agentsが流通すると予測していること、そしてFortune 500の80%がすでにMicrosoft agentsを使っていることを紹介した。そうした背景の下で、Agent 365はMay 1に$15 per userでgeneral availabilityになる。Microsoftによれば、これはITとsecurityの担当者が組織全体のagentsをobserve、govern、manage、secureするためのcontrol planeだ。会社はpreview開始から2カ月でAgent 365 Registryにtens of millions of agentsが現れ、tens of thousands of customersが導入していると述べた。社内でも500,000を超えるagentsを可視化しており、過去28日間には社員向けに1日65,000件超の応答を生成したという。

Frontier Suiteはenterprise AI stackを束ねる

Microsoft 365 E7 Frontier SuiteはMicrosoft 365 E5、Microsoft 365 Copilot、Agent 365をWork IQの上で一つに束ねる。MicrosoftはここにMicrosoft Entra Suiteとadvanced Defender、Intune、Purview機能も含め、employeesとagentsの両方を保護すると説明した。価格は$99 per userで、MicrosoftはE5だけでは足りないという顧客の声に応える形だとしている。今回の発表は、enterprise AI競争が単なるmodel性能競争ではなく、assistant、agent、security、administrationをどれだけ一貫して製品化できるかという勝負に移っていることをよく示している。
