Perplexity Computer adds health-data connections for personalized tools and dashboards

Perplexity said on March 19, 2026 that Perplexity Computer can now connect to health apps, wearable devices, lab results, and medical records. In the X post, the company said users can build personalized tools and applications with that data or track everything from a dedicated health dashboard.
This is a notable expansion of the product's scope. Until now, Perplexity Computer has largely been framed around general computer use and AI-assisted task execution. By linking the tool to structured and personal health data, Perplexity is moving into a more sensitive workflow category where context, continuity, and cross-source aggregation matter more than one-off answers.
A companion post from the same rollout says the feature is now rolling out to Perplexity Pro and Max subscribers in the US. That rollout note is important because it signals the launch is real but still geographically and commercially gated. If the integration works as described, it could make Perplexity Computer less of a generic assistant and more of a domain-aware workspace for users who want to monitor trends across wearables, test results, and records in one place.
- New data sources: health apps, wearables, lab results, and medical records
- Promised workflows: personalized tools, applications, and a health dashboard
- Companion rollout note: Pro and Max subscribers in the US
