According to a leaked internal memo obtained by The Verge, Xbox chief Asha Sharma told staff that Game Pass has become too expensive for players and needs a better value equation. No immediate change was announced, but Microsoft appears to be weighing a more flexible long-term model.

Amazon says that starting April 10, 2026, Amazon Luna will no longer offer game stores, individual game purchases, or third-party subscriptions. Previously purchased titles and Bring Your Own Library access remain available only through June 10, 2026, while Ubisoft+ and Jackbox Games subscriptions sold through Luna are also being discontinued.
