Anthropic、Claude Mythos Preview を軸に Project Glasswing を発表

何が起きたのか

Anthropic は 2026年4月7日、X で Project Glasswing を発表し、公式ページで詳細を公開した。会社はこれを「AI 時代に向けて世界で最も重要な software を保護する initiative」と説明している。launch partner には Amazon Web Services、Apple、Broadcom、Cisco、CrowdStrike、Google、JPMorganChase、Linux Foundation、Microsoft、NVIDIA、Palo Alto Networks などが含まれ、critical software infrastructure を支える追加 40超の organization にも access を広げたと述べている。

中心にあるのは Claude Mythos Preview だ。Anthropic はこの model を defensive security work に先行投入し、critical codebase にある vulnerability を見つけ、修正する力を高めたいとしている。さらに最大 1億ドルの usage credits と 400万ドルの open-source security donation を約束した。

なぜ重要か

今回の発表の本質は、frontier model の deployment を cyber timing の問題として扱っている点にある。強い capability がいずれ広がるなら、attack side より先に defender 側へ渡し、評価し、運用する時間を確保しなければならないという考え方だ。これは抽象的な AI safety 論より、かなり実務寄りの posture だと言える。

• Anthropic は Claude API、Amazon Bedrock、Google Cloud Vertex AI、Microsoft Foundry 経由での提供を案内している。

この構造が重要なのは、software security が一社の内部問題ではなく supply chain 全体の問題だからだ。critical system は cloud、chip、library、open-source maintainer、enterprise operator の積み重ねで成り立っている。Glasswing はその共有面に対して AI-assisted defense を広げようとしている。

もちろん未解決の論点は残る。Mythos Preview の性能が independent setting でも維持されるのか、防御先行の配布が本当に exploitation window を縮めるのかは今後の検証が必要だ。それでも、frontier lab が cyber claim を marketing ではなく、予算と partner を伴う実務プログラムとして出してきたこと自体は大きな変化だ。原文: Anthropic.
