Thick As Thieves、追加content update終了…peer-to-peer serverへ移行予定

Thick As Thievesは追加content updateを受け取らない。OtherSide Entertainmentのgame director Jeff HickmanがSteamで方針を説明し、PC Gamerは2026年5月発売後の少ないcontent量、post-launch修正、studioの人員削減を背景として伝えた。

プレイヤー向けの変更点はserver維持だ。Thick As Thievesはsoloとco-op playを残すため、peer-to-peer server方式へ移行する予定になっている。publisherのMegabitがmaintenanceを引き継ぐ方向も示されている。新mapや大きなcampaign expansionを待っていたプレイヤーにとっては、roadmap終了に近い。

本作は2026年5月にPC向けに$5で発売されたstealth heist gameだ。PC Gamerは、発売時点では2つのmapと短いcampaignが中心で、key rebindingなどPC版で期待される基本optionも後続updateで入ったと説明している。OtherSideは別projectのcancelと2度のlayoffsを経て、残る従業員が10人未満になったとも報じられている。
