The most significant change in Grok 4.2 is the shift from a single AI model to a four-agent collaborative system:

Grok: Coordination and orchestration
Harper: Research and fact-checking
Benjamin: Math, coding, and logical reasoning
Lucas: Creative tasks

All four agents work in parallel, debating conclusions in real time before synthesizing a unified response. xAI reports this architecture reduces hallucinations by 65%, dropping error rates from approximately 12% to 4.2%.

Availability

Grok 4.2 is available at grok.com for free with usage limits. Unlimited access is available through SuperGrok ($30/month) and SuperGrok Heavy ($300/month). Users must manually select "Grok 4.2" from the model menu.
