Tymon Smektala, the franchise director behind the Dying Light series, has departed Techland after 13 years. His final project was Dying Light: The Beast, which he described internally as Dying Light 3.

Techland says Dying Light: The Beast Restored Land bundles the full game, all post-release content, and a new ruleset where enemies and loot do not respawn normally. Existing players receive the March 26 update for free.
