Nintendo Treehouse: Live Announced
Nintendo has announced a new Treehouse: Live presentation scheduled for February 24 at 2pm PT / 5pm ET. The stream will run for approximately 80 minutes and will focus entirely on hands-on gameplay for two upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 titles: Super Mario Bros. Wonder: Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Meetup in Bellabel Park and Pokémon Pokopia.
Super Mario Bros. Wonder Switch 2 Edition
Super Mario Bros. Wonder: Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Meetup in Bellabel Park launches on March 26. The Switch 2 upgrade introduces new multiplayer modes as well as new single-player features, including the addition of Rosalina as a playable character. Players who already own the original Switch version can purchase the Switch 2 Edition upgrade separately.
Pokémon Pokopia
Pokémon Pokopia, co-developed by Koei Tecmo and Game Freak, is a Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive launching on March 5. Players control a Ditto who takes on the appearance of a human and sets out to befriend Pokémon and rebuild a mysterious island. The unique premise has generated considerable excitement ahead of the Treehouse deep-dive.
What to Expect from Treehouse: Live
Unlike Nintendo Direct presentations — which are typically focused on trailers, new announcements, and reveal moments — Treehouse: Live streams are formatted more like extended gameplay showcases. Viewers should expect deep dives into both games' mechanics and content rather than surprise announcements. It's a key opportunity for fans to get a detailed look at both titles ahead of their imminent launches.
