Unilever $UL is exploring a bid for Thorne that could value the U.S. supplements maker at up to $4B, according to Financial Times reporting. Thorne is owned by L Catterton and is projected to generate about $650M of revenue this year.
Bio-Techne $TECH traded about 20% higher after Merck KGaA agreed to buy the company for $73 a share in cash, valuing it at about $11.3B. The offer is 36% above Bio-Techne's one-month VWAP and is expected to close in late 2026 or early 2027, subject to approvals.
Singtel sold a 2.8% stake in Gulf Development for about S$1B, or roughly $773M, through a private placement. The group expects about S$140M in cumulative equity gains and will retain a 4.95% Gulf stake valued near S$1.8B.
CRH agreed to acquire Arcosa for $150 a share in cash, valuing the infrastructure materials company at about $8.5B enterprise value. The offer implies a 25% premium to Arcosa’s 60-day VWAP as of June 18, 2026.
AbbVie agreed to acquire Apogee Therapeutics for $135.11 a share in cash, valuing the immunology biotech at about $10.9B. The deal adds zumilokibart, a late-stage IL-13 antibody for atopic dermatitis, and is expected to close in Q3 2026.
MDA Space (MDA.TO) agreed to buy Blue Canyon Technologies from RTX Raytheon for $620M in cash. Yahoo Finance carried the Reuters report on June 19; MDA shares were quoted 6.29% higher after the announcement.
Intertek (ITRK.L) agreed to a recommended EQT-backed cash acquisition implying £10.7B of enterprise value. The package gives shareholders £60.00 in cash plus a 107.7p FY25 final dividend, or £61.077 per share in total value.
Yum Brands $YUM agreed to sell Pizza Hut in two transactions worth about $2.7B: $1.5B for ex-China operations and $1.2B for China. The company also approved an incremental $4B share-repurchase authorization.
$ROKU traded at $143.66, up 20.0% at 12:46 UTC, after Fox Corporation agreed to acquire Roku for $160.00 per share. The cash-and-stock deal values Roku at about $22B in enterprise value.
Bridgepoint $BPT is preparing a potential sale of Danish counter-drone company MyDefence at roughly $1B, the FT reported on June 14. The report says an adviser has been hired for a possible year-end auction and that MyDefence sales are poised to more than double this year.
