Subnautica 2's Steam page now lists Unknown Worlds Entertainment as both developer and publisher, while Krafton's name is gone. The page still shows a 2026 release window, making the storefront edit the clearest public change in the game's long leadership and launch dispute.

Kotaku reports that the Delaware Chancery Court ordered Krafton to reinstate Unknown Worlds CEO Ted Gill and restore his authority over Subnautica 2's Early Access launch.
