Resident Evil Requiem has passed 7 million copies by April 24, with director Koshi Nakanishi sharing the milestone on Instagram. Capcom’s latest entry launched February 27 on PS5, Xbox Series, Switch 2, and PC, and had last been reported at 6 million on March 16.
Capcom says Resident Evil Requiem has exceeded 6 million units worldwide less than three weeks after launch, the fastest pace in series history, with more content still ahead.
Capcom announced on March 4, 2026 that Resident Evil Requiem passed 5 million units sold worldwide after launching on February 27. The update also spread quickly through r/Games.
