Google AI said on March 18, 2026 that Stitch is evolving from a Labs experiment into an AI design canvas that turns prompts into production-ready front-end code. Google's blog adds that the new Stitch combines an infinite multimodal canvas, a project-wide design agent, an Agent manager for parallel ideas, agent-friendly DESIGN.md files, instant interactive prototypes, and voice-driven edits.
