AMD has officially confirmed that FSR (FidelityFX Super Resolution) Upscaling 4.1 will come to Radeon RX 7000 GPUs in July 2026. The announcement puts an end to months of community speculation, giving RX 7000 owners a concrete date for the improved upscaling technology.
RX 6000 Series Gets Support in 2027
Radeon RX 6000 series GPUs (based on RDNA 2) will receive FSR 4.1 support in 2027. Steam Machines, Steam Deck, and APUs based on RDNA 2 and RDNA 3 architectures are also expected to benefit. While some users had hoped for earlier RX 6000 support, the confirmation itself was welcomed after months of uncertainty.
