No Rest for the Wicked has passed 1.7 million copies sold two years after entering Steam Early Access. Moon Studios posted the sales milestone in an Apr. 18 Steam News update and said the action RPG is still moving toward version 1.0. The r/pcgaming post was created on Apr. 18 at 17:46 UTC and had 135 score with 50 comments at crawl time.
The announcement is short, but the number is useful. Moon Studios says No Rest for the Wicked has grown through Early Access player feedback and now sits at “1.7 million copies sold, and counting.” The post does not attach a new 1.0 release date, console launch date, or price change to the milestone.
1.0 and console versions remain in the plan
The studio says it is “hard at work toward 1.0” and tells console players that they have not been forgotten. That keeps the platform story open: the game remains a PC Early Access release today, while the full launch and console timing are still future items. Players waiting outside Steam did not receive a specific platform-by-platform schedule in this update.
For Moon Studios, the number gives the project a visible commercial baseline after the first two years. No Rest for the Wicked is the studio's first major release after Ori and the Blind Forest and Ori and the Will of the Wisps, and the Early Access path has put patches, server operations, and balance changes in public view before 1.0. The anniversary post signals continued support, but the practical next checkpoint is still the 1.0 roadmap rather than the sales milestone itself.
