Cognition is arguing that coding agents do not have to collapse into model-lab features. It raised more than $1B at a $26B valuation, with Devin’s run-rate revenue reaching $492M.

OpenAI on May 11 spun up OpenAI Deployment Company with $4 billion in initial funding and 19 global partners. The majority-owned subsidiary embeds Forward Deployed Engineers inside enterprises to redesign workflows around frontier AI.
